Product Description
A Wrinkle Recovery Tester is used to determine the appearance of textile fabric after induced wrinkling(i.e. to access the wrinkle recovery of the fabrics). It is applicable to fabrics made from any fibre or combination of the fibres. A test specimen is wrinkled under standard Atmospheric conditions in a standard wrinkling device under a pre-determined load for a prescribed period of time. The specimen is then reconditioned in the standard atmosphere for textile testing and evaluated for appearance by comparing with standard replicas.
Paramount Wrinkle Recovery Tester i9 is completely made of Stainless-Steel. The equipment consists of a circular base on which there is a shaft supporting platform.The shaft is rigidly fixed on the platform. The equipment has two specially designed flanges-top flange and bottom flange, which holds the fabric with the help of cloth hanger & clips. The top flange is movable whereas the bottom flange is fixed to the circular base. Three specially designed dead weights of Kg., 1Kg, and 2 Kg. are provided to apply the required force on the fabric.
